Bath Festivals Education programme...developing the enquiring mind.

Bath Festivals provide a year round programme of educational events and activities enabling people to develop their creativity.

The work we do during the Bath International Music Festival is just one part of the work we carry out across Bath and North East Somerset with a variety of partners throughout the whole year. We run targeted education programmes in schools, youth centres and community settings and we are happy to talk to people about our work and the development of future programmes.

Education Work in 2010

In 2010 Bath Festivals Education Programme is influenced by On the Edge of Life, involving local schools and young people in the Play Me, I'm Yours project and the creative ideas of children and young people in our community.

Highlights from this year's projects include our annual Festival Procession which this year is run in partnership with Bath Primary Arts Festival and heralds the start of Party in the City on Friday 28 May.

As part of our continuing partnership with Three Ways Special School they will be hosting a piano as part of the Play Me, I'm Yours project and working with artists to decorate it and then will be recording themselves playing it - watch this space for photos and the recordings.
