Already tipped as the ones to watch, Led Bib achieved widespread recognition when Sensible Shoes became one of the Mercury Music Albums of the Year 2009. Relentlessly dodging definition, Led Bib is both a maverick jazz band and an unlikely rock quintet.

This Walthamstow based five-piece of twentysomethings pride themselves on side-stepping convention, with incendiary results.

‘Rarely have two saxes, keyboard, bass and drums sounded so dangerous yet so compelling’ Observer Music Monthly ****

Chris Sharkey guitar
Ruth Goller bass
Seb Rochford drums

With a new line up and rave reviews for their third album, the leaders of the British jazz renaissance return to Bath. When Acoustic Ladyland’s full throttle, punk infused jazz improve first hit the scene it sparked off a revolution and marked a new era of adventure, inspiring a new wave of exciting young bands.

To witness Acoustic Ladyland playing live is to witness something monumental; the revamped rhythm section of Ruth and Seb relish every second of their locked down grooves, whilst Chris and Pete cut, thrust and goad each other to push ever further at their boundaries.

‘Is it jazz? Is It punk? Who knows, and indeed, who cares? Living With A Tiger sees them in rampant form’ NME
