Bath International Music Festival and Bath Literature Festival are produced by Bath Festivals, a long-established independent arts company with charitable status.Bath Festivals is the city’s central arts organisation. As well as organising two of Bath’s largest and most successful festivals, Bath Festivals also run a year-round education programme that seeks to enable young people to develop their creativity by bringing acclaimed writers and musicians into schools.
Bath Festivals also run a year-round Box Office, which sells tickets for thousands of events throughout the area, working alongside approximately 80 local and national arts organisations, promoters and venues.
Bath Festivals receives core funding from Bath and North East Somerset Council (B&NES) and Arts Council England, as well as support from commercial sponsors, trust funds and private donors.
Jane Drabble is the new Chair of the Board of Directors for Bath Festivals. Jane succeeds Professor Glynis Breakwell, Vice Chancellor of the University of Bath, who led the company from 2006. To read more about Jane and her appointment as Chair please click here.
