Some of the most famous voices of Motown, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas fly in from Detroit to close the Festival with a bang. The powerhouse vocals of this all-girl super-group created hits including Heat Wave, Nowhere to Run, Jimmy Mack and their signature song, Dancing in the Street.

Martha Reeves and the Vandellas were among the most successful groups of the Motown roster in the 60s. During their nine year run on the charts from 1963 to 1972, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas charted over twenty-six hits with ten Vandellas songs reaching the top ten of the Billboard R&B singles chart.

Performing hits from the run of their career with their show-stopping eight piece UK band, they bring with them the inimitable, glamorous sound of one of the most influential labels in music history.
