Festival Procession
This year we are working in partnership with Bath Primary Arts Festival to create a colourful and energetic procession that will be a vibrant celebration of dance and culture. The Festival Procession will kick off PARTY IN THE CITY on Friday 28 May and will weave through the city from the Forum to Bath Abbey.
Participating Schools: Bathwick St Mary Primary , Royal High Junior School, St Michaels Junior School, St Martins Garden Primary, Weston All Saints Primary, Whitchurch Primary, Widcombe Junior School.
You can still get involved in the procession with our workshops we are running in partnership with the Holburne Musuem. Details on the right.
Play me, I'm Yours
Three Ways School will be hosting one of our piano's throughout the festival and their students will be working with visual artist, Mel Day to decorate it. The students, staff and parents will all be encouraged to take a seat at the piano and play a tune - it might be an old favourite or a new composition so watch this space for pictures of the piano and recordings of the children, it promises to be a performance not to be missed!
On the Edge of Life
Following last year's successful Fairytale project linked to On the Edge of Life, we are once again we are working with a group of children and young people to create words and artwork for the Shoes installation in St Michaels.
Piano Masterclass
We have 5 exceptional students taking part in the piano masterclass with Joanna MacGregor. Don't miss this fascinating and inspiring event on Tuesday 1 June at the Guildhall.
